Living out of a suitcase is a phrase meaning “to stay/live in several places temporarily, with only enough belongings to put in a suitcase”. To be honest, I never really give much to the expression until say this less than a minute from my front door.

HOMELESS AT THE OLD FRUIT AND VEGETABLE MARKET BUILDING
Every time I walk around in North Inner City I am distressed to see so many people living in doorways but I should mention that I have noticed many organisations and individuals distributing food. Just after I took this photograph two men dropped off two bags of groceries to whoever was living in the doorway to the old victorian market building.
Where will all the homeless living in the doorways of commercial buildings move to when businesses begin to reopen.
