THE LOCATION OF A NEW HOTEL BETWEEN UPPER ABBEY STREET AND GREAT STRAND STREET

These photographs date from April 2019 but I cannot remember taking them and until today I could not identify the location. I now know that I was standing on Great Strand Street and that subject of my three photographs is a building site located between Strand Street and Abbey Street.

Following the withdrawal of a planning permission appeal property group Marlet started work [April 2019] on a new 239 bedroom hotel and aparthotel development on Upper Abbey Street and Great Strand Street of Dublin.

The hotel will have an entrance on Abbey Street, while the aparthotel will include 256 beds and front onto Great Strand Street.
