This is basically a test.
Tram Journey from Broombridge to Broadstone photographed using an iPhone XR.
Over the years I have avoided video because of the resources required both locally and online.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I decided to get an Apple iPhone XR and investigate if it offered a worthwhile solution for still images and video and to date I have been impressed by the quality but I am not sure about the workflow requirements.
Today I recorder a timelapse of the tram journey from Broombridge to Broadstone and ended up with a file too large to upload to wordpress which was more than a little bit upsetting. Anyway, after much post production editing I produced a usable file but on an ongoing basis I the process would not be practical.
The Cross City Line was developed as an extension to the Green Line which terminated at St. Stephen’s Green. The extension connects St. Stephen’s Green to Broombridge passing through O’Connell Street, Dominick Street, Broadstone, Grangegorman, Phibsborough and Cabra. On the return journey the trams pass through Parnell Street rather than O’Connell Street.
