THERE IS A DEDICATED DOG PARK WITHIN SAINT ANNE’S PUBLIC PARK
I never noticed this before and as I walked there was a dog fight in what appeared to be the area for bigger dogs however it did not last long. I should mention that I noticed many “off lead” dogs throughout the general park especially in the wooded areas and the wild meadow.
Dedicated dog park within St. Anne’s Park near the Model Car track.
- Off lead allowed
- Separate small and big dog areas
- Fenced in
- Drinking water tap
- Waste bins
- Benches
- Woodchip surface
According to Dublin City Council: “Dogs are allowed off lead up to 11.00am each day & for the last hour before official Park Closing Time. At all other times, dogs must be kept on a leash. There is a dedicated ‘Dog Park’ beside the Model Car track, where dogs may be let off the lead at all other times. Dogs love this park as there’s over an acre of woodland, hills and undergrowth for them to explore. There is an enclosed area for all dogs and a separate area for big dogs. The dog park is located in the Raheny side of St. Anne’s and the entrance is just off the All Saints Road.”
