The Millennium Park is 24.4 hectares (60 acres) of parkland immediately adjacent to the Blanchardstown Town Centre, Fingal County Council Offices at Grove Road, Blanchardstown Library, Draíocht Arts Centre, and conveniently close to the large housing estates
Millennium Park was awarded its first Green Flag in 2015 has retained it each year since. The development of the Millennium Park is an ongoing process, as Fingal County council strives to achieve a high-quality park for its residents and visitors.
The Millennium Park was planned in order to facilitate both passive and active recreation. The design preserved the remaining elements of the 19th century walled gardens, soon to be restored. Passive recreation is facilitated through a network of tree-lined paths which give access to meadows, woodland, and walled gardens .
