SCULPTURE BY LUCY GLENDINNING SAINT ANNE’S SQUARE IN BELFAST – PHOTOGRAPHED MARCH 2019
When I visit Belfast I usually stay at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel and there is an exit from the hotel that leads to Saint Anne’s Square and usually I visit the Zen restaurant which is located behind this sculpture. When I first saw the sculpture it reminded me of the Titanica a sculpture by Rowan Gillespie.
Sculpture in Saint Anne’s Square, Belfast, by the artist Lucy Glendinning. Described by the artist as “a 7m high mirror polished stainless steel with internal lighting a laser cut pattern with coloured perspex insets and a life size figure cast in slate resin.”
