EAST PIER – DUN LAOGHAIRE HARBOUR

In February 2008, the Dún Laoghaire Harbour Company resurfaced the top level of the East Pier of Dún Laoghaire Harbour. Additional repair work was carried out to the East Pier inner harbour in June 2011.

Unfortunately in 2018 there was ‘substantial damage’ to the East Pier following Storm Emma. Parts of the surface of the pier were ripped up and the bandstand, also known as the sun shelter, was very badly damaged.

It is now February 2020 and repairs are still ongoing.
