As I did not use a flash this was difficult to photograph this item because of poor lighting.
This is the smaller of two similar items by Martin O’Keefe.
Born in Newry Co. Down, raised in West Cork and Dublin, Martin O’Keefe is a visual artist who works primarily in the mediums of stainless and mild steel, aluminium, copper and brass.
The Sculpture In Context 2021 exhibition opened to the public today at the Botanic Gardens. As I obtained a catalogue and a map I am now in a position to identify the individual sculptures and the artists.
