AN LINN A SCULPTURE BY BRID NI LINN
An Linn is the Irish for “the age”.
As a matter of interest instead of Ó and Mac, Ní and Níc respectively are used after names of females in surnames and it should be mentioned that Mc is but an abbreviated version of Mac [though some may disagree]
Brid received a diploma from the National College of Art. She works as a sculptor and has created many pieces in bronze, stone and wood, some with religious themes for churches and several outdoor pieces which can be found in Ireland, U.K and the U.S.A. Her work has been exhibited at RHA and the Oire.
